Our Program

Project Homecoming is a Non-Profit rebuild ministry through the Presbyterian Church, which provides Experienced Construction Management and Volunteer Labor at NO COST to the Homeowner.  Since April of 2007, Project Homecoming has completed over 120 Houses in the greater New Orleans area.

Project Homecoming Provides

• Volunteer Labor
• Free Construction Management
• A Detailed Scope of Work and Estimate for Your Rebuild
• Ability to Complete Your Home at 1/3 the Cost of Hiring a Contractor

Homeowners Provide

• Funding for Building Materials
• Funding for Licensed and Insured Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC Contractors (as determined by Project Homecoming)

How to Qualify

• Your Primary Residence was Damaged by Katrina
• You make 80% or Less of the HUD Median Income of New Orleans
• You are willing to provide all financial documentation and proof of ownership
