With so many other volunteer opportunities, why choose Project Homecoming?

Volunteer from NJ
Need: At the start of 2010 there were still 1,500 families living in FEMA trailers, and countless others living at friend’s or neighbor’s houses, all trying to return home to New Orleans.
Expertise: All of our Construction Managers come from the Construction Industry.
Sustainability: Project Homecoming is leading the non-profit rebuilding community in its environmentally sustainable, energy efficient, and structurally sound building practices.
Leadership: Each job site has at least one Worksite Manager working alongside our weekly volunteers. This allows Project Homecoming to build high quality homes, while maximizing our volunteers’ productivity.
High Quality Experience: Project Homecoming is determined to make your volunteer experience as meaningful as possible, with high quality housing and job sites.
Affordability: Project Homecoming tries to keep the cost of volunteering down, such that you can keep coming back
